Notable Changes from the Previous Year
The 2024 Navigator brings a few tech and safety changes. The entry-level model now has Lincoln’s BlueCruise 1.0 hands-free available, with a three-month trial subscription for a host of driving assistance features. BlueCruise subscriptions are also longer now, lasting two years instead of one.
Safety Systems
The new Navigator has two trims available. There are a few differences in exterior design, but you’ll find the safety standards and driving assistance technologies the same for both. You’ll get an advanced airbag system, including dual-stage front airbags, side-impact airbags and the Safety Canopy System, adding side-curtain airbags and rollover sensors.
Passive safety features include child-safety rear door locks, individual tyre pressure monitoring, lower and tether anchors for children, and a belt-minder. Additionally, drivers can count on Lincoln’s SOS Post-Crash Alert System.
BlueCruise
Lincoln’s BlueCruise system takes autonomous driving to the next level, where your hands don’t need to be on the wheel while your eyes are on the road. This system provides hands-free driveability on North American Blue Zone roads, which are over 200km long.
Lincoln Co-Pilot360
The Co-Pilot 360 system includes Evasive Steering Assist, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control and a 360-degree camera equipped with a rear camera washer. The camera provides a full-colour bird’s-eye view around the vehicle.
Phone as a Key
Download the Through the Lincoln Way app on your smartphone to start your vehicle without needing a key. If your smartphone goes off or you lose it, you can access those features via a backup passcode.
Safety Rating
The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the Navigator a five-star safety rating against side crashes, while rollover prevention systems scored between three and four stars.
